The Centre for Genomic Research is a leading laboratory for the application
of genomic technologies and bioinformatic analyses.  Supported by the
University, MRC and NERC, it is applying cutting-edge technologies to
environmental, biomedical and comparative genomic research.  Providing
guidance and oversight to a team of bioinformaticians, you will have the
primary responsibility of developing and implementing next-generation
sequencing analyses. In addition, you will also be responsible for providing
direction to the development of the CGR and ensure that the CGR remains at
the forefront of developments in computational biology. The post is
available for 3 years initially.
